Find the exact colour from any picture
Designers, developers and marketers often need to match a colour from a logo, screenshot or photo. Instead of guessing, click the pixel and get the precise HEX code to use in CSS, Figma, Canva, Photoshop or Word.
HEX, RGB and HSL explained
HEX (e.g. #FF6B2C) is the most common format on the web. RGB describes how much red, green and blue light makes up the colour (0โ255 each). HSL describes hue, saturation and lightness, which makes it easy to create lighter or darker shades of the same colour.
Frequently asked questions
Can I pick a colour from my screen?
In Chrome and Edge, use the "Pick from screen" button to grab a colour from anywhere on your screen, not just the uploaded image.
How is the palette calculated?
The tool samples the image and groups similar colours together, then shows the most common groups. It's a quick way to get a matching colour scheme.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is read directly by your browser and never sent anywhere.
